The collection of books is presented in separate pages according to kind of subject and language. The items are from my personal library; do not worry, I will still have a fine library if you'd decide to buy the lot offered here. The character of the collection is academic/scientific: historical studies, philosophy, sciences and humanities, mathematics/statistics, and literature. Many books are rare hardcovers and in fine condition. Items will be added in the course of 2006 and 2007.

Philosophy    Original philosophical works, mainly 20th century philosophers. Also books on justice and equity.

 Mathematics    Mathematical statistics, methodology, decision-making.

 Information technology    Computing, programming, computer modelling, simulation, ict.

 Economics    economics

 Humanities    The humanities, sociology

 Sciences    The physical sciences, medicine, engineering

 Psychology    Cognitive, clinical, and industrial psychology.

 Education    primary, secondary, university, research

 Genetics    Special catalogue especially on behavior genetics.

 History    Cultural and social historical studies.

 Geschiedenis    Vooral cultuur- en maatschappijgeschiedenis.

 Genealogie en Topografie    De kleine geschiedenis.

 History of universities and of education    Histories of particular institutions and colleges, of course, development in teaching and organisation. Dutch books: see:

 China and Japan    Historical studies as wel as books on China and Japan's 20th century educational systems. My personal interest in this Far Eastern region lies in Imperial China's examination system, parts of which spilled over to Korea and Japan, and possibly Europe also.

 Arts and literature    Nabokov, Vonnegut, etcetera.

 Kunst en literatuur    Nederlandse maar ook vertaalde literatuur.
